Welcome to PAUHS - A Montreal-based small business, rooted in care, curiosity and innovation. 

Born of a simple desire: to better understand and care for the cats we love.

I became a first time cat mama when my cat chose me, so I went on a deep dive learning how to care for her and I quickly discovered how easily cats can hide when they’re unwell. I wanted something that could help me monitor her health between vet visits — something easy, reliable, and gentle. 

That’s how Pauhs Litter came to life — a color-changing litter that reacts to your cat’s urine pH to alert you to early signs of possible health issues. It’s simple, clean, effective and designed to give you peace of mind without any added stress for your cat.

Behind the Name

“PAUHS” is inspired by the one who started it all — my manager — I mean my cat Smokey. I call her “Hot Foot” because she’s always sprinting around the house. This brand is my way of keeping up with her — and helping others do the same for their fast-moving, slow-revealing feline friends.
